Smart phones are many tools in one. You can talk, email, text, watch movies, listen to music, play games, manage your calendar, and so many other options, all in one device. So, tell me how hard is it to not get addicted to this wonderful piece of technology?
There are many causes of this cell phone addiction phenomenon. If you looked around you can rarely see someone who doesn’t own a cell phone, young he is or old. A kid is capable of using a cell phone without facing any difficulties. Even, in job application forms, there is always an essential column for cell phone number. Life is based on cell phones!
Now with this developing cell phones that have access to network, you can connect with people all around the globe, with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. You can meet anyone online and exchange your other accounts with on the rest of the social media, and here you are meeting new people, and getting in touch with your friends from other countries. Some virtual friends are more caring than those in real life, which makes people connected more to the virtual world.
 
Many of us would be wondering about what they are missing out, it’s called FOMO “fear of missing out”. They have this fear that maybe something more exciting is happening and they might miss it, which makes them holding their cell phones most of the time.
